Ticho House – Dairy 9 Harav Cook, 02-624-4186 Ticho has a memorable taste of Gan Eden in elegant garden ambiance located right off of downtown Jerusalem. Maafe (Café) Ne'eman - Dairy Corner of Jaffo St and King George Great salads, sandwiches and baked goods. Holy Bagel – Dairy 34 Jaffa Rd and 220 Jaffa Road, 02-6255666 Here you can pick up bagels and take away, or you can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. Sambooki – Dairy 32 Jaffo Street, Pick one from column a and one from column b, 45 shekel lunches including good salad bar. Noya – Meat 3 Shlomtzion Hamalka St, 02-6257311 This is a lamb lovers feast. Gong – Japanese 33 Yaffo Street, 625-0818 Gong is a Japanese restaurant, with an entirely different concept. It offers a special and warm atmosphere and is decorated in a Japanese style with touches of the West and a great menu. Apple & Pear – Dairy Italian 6 Kikar Safra, 02-623-0280 Sams Bagels – Dairy On Ben Yehudah American bagels, salads and fresh juice drinks. Angelo's– Dairy Italian 9 Horkanos Street, 02-623-6095 Angelo, owned and run by a recent immigrant from Rome, and his expertise is displayed to delicious effect in the menu. This is without a doubt the best Italian restaurant in Israel. The full range of dishes is on offer, with a large selection of antipasti, salads, soups, pasta, pizza and fish. Sheyan – Far Eastern 8 Ramban Street, 02-561 2007 Sheyan is a big, lively, busy restaurant with lots of positive energy. It has become a neighborhood favorite for Rechavia and Shaarei Hesed residents. Reservations are a must. Portions are generous and prices are very reasonable. Keyara – French Mediterranean 8 Ramban St, 02-5663271 KEYARA is elegantly tasteful, understated, with clean modern lines. The large area (seating for 100) is ideal for family affairs and get-togethers. Everything is new and creative, from the roast beef with star fruit to the salmon wrapped in nuts and broad beans, to the ravioli stuffed with mushrooms, artichokes, spinach and cherry tomatoes. Benny's Fish Restaurant 1 Mesilat Yesharim Street, 02-625-2403 This well renowned restaurant is Jerusalem's oldest fish restaurant, established 33 years ago. There are many appetizers, consisting of 9 different kinds of salads, plus humus, eggplant with yogurt, and many other delicacies. Big Apple Pizza 33 Jaffo Street Famous for its delicious pizza and generous portions. Sabarro's- Cafeteria style Italian dairy 35 Jaffo Street Great dairy cafeteria style fast food. Village Green – Vegetarian 33 Jaffa Road, 02-625-3065 The Village Green is for those who like their vegetarian dishes the way they were meant to be. Plenty of menu choices and varying levels of vegetarianism (with dairy products and/or eggs or without either). Plenty of Hearty soups, tremendous salads (you choose from a big salad bar of choices), quiches and pot pies (including seaweed, and many with whole wheat options), two kinds of lasagna (eggplant or zucchini) Mamilla MallCafé Rimon – DairyElrov Boulevard, Mamilla Café Rimon (dairy) in Mamilla is beautifully located right opposite the Old City Walls. More quiet and relaxing then town, the food is delicious and beautifully presented.
